loved it! I can't wait for the next update!

Since Andrew has turned out to be so flaky for such a good portion of the story now I admit I kind of stopped rooting for them to be together and I'm indifferent now as to whether they will. The constant flickers of interest and total lack of resolve from him makes me impatient. I guess I'm more interested in watching Violet gain some self-esteem and begin actively pursuing the things she wants in life, which she's begun to do. I was so glad to see her kick her sister out in this chapter bc it was seriously bothering me how she was so pandering in that particular relationship. It's good to see her character arc gaining momentum.

Thank you so much for this update! I have so much love for Violet for standing up for herself. Hell yeah character growth! I actually don't care if she ends up with Andrew or not. Honestly, I would prefer it if she didn't, and just focus on her new job and then maybe meet someone else. But whatever comes next, I know it will be awesome!

OMG this story is AMAZING. I literally stayed up till 5 in the morning last night trying to finish it. This plot line and your characters are unbelievable. I really like the way you've portrayed Violet and the way she's grown into herself throughout the course of this story. Andrew, while he does need to get his shit together and choose Violet, is also such an awesome character. I adore the way he interacts with Violet, it's too cute.
You're supporting characters are too good. Chris? HILARIOUS. Kayla is so sweet and cool and Paul is the perfect "I'm here to help you figure things out" character.
But all that aside, I know you just updated 11 hours ago but please update soon! I REALLY need to see Andrew pick Violet. I need more Yosemite cuteness (those chapters were absolute perfection)! Keep writing because you're truly phenomenal at it!

I remember reading this sometime ago and I'm glad this isn't abandoned. Loved the new chapter and developments. Update soon!

HE BETTER CHOOSE HER UGH

Oh, this was a very good chapter. Firstly, I am so happy for Violet that she gathered the guts to finally shut Josephine up. This story shows that it's not just a romance, but also rather a coming-of-age story, to a lesser degree, and that's great! I'm so happy that she doesn't care about making other people happy, especially her parents. Ugh, thank god. I was so shocked when she sat at the bench that ANDREW of all people came along! Woah! And I'm so happy for her, again, that she told Andrew she wasn't going to wait. As much as I love Andrew (so so much!), he can't just make her wait for this love triangle. However, I do hope they end up together in the end, haha! But her rejected of Andrew's proposal made me so proud of her; she's changing, and I love that. Additionally, I was so happy that Andrew wasn't shocked that she rejected his waiting; that just shows how much she knows him, and how perfect they are together! I just wonder when Andrew is going to choose, and I'm wondering when Abigail makes an appearance again. Again, great chapter, and a splendid story; honestly, it's one of my favorites... you just manage to make everything flow so easily; no awkward time transitions, and you make Violet's growth so real. Additionally, you make the characters so realistic. I love how this story is essentially based off of chick flicks and their unrealistic nature. Haha, cannot wait for the next chapter!

Go Violet! She's really coming into her own with not being so passive anymore. :)

I like how even though she was kicking Josephine out she was still nice and reasonable (since after all they ARE sisters, even though Josephine's a horrible sister). It's more realistic than how in a lot of other stories the main character will all of a sudden do a complete 180 with no explanation or gradual shift.

The part with Violet reading on the bench was so cute. :) I like seeing her passion for journalism and I think it's nice you're incorporating it more. I hope we get to see more of this side, her favorite stories/writers, her gripes with the system, etc.

I'm also glad Violet's more confident and assured around Andrew now. Before when she was just in awe of him and would trip over everything he said, while it IS how a lot of people are with crushes, it wouldn't have put them on an equal footing, which is something really important in relationships.

Ugh! I can't wait with all this suspense! What in the world is going on with them! They agree not to talk, it seems Andrew chose Abigail, but now he can't let Violet walk out of his life..? I'm very confused and hope next chapter alleviates some of my confusion. And why in the world did Violet want Josephine out of her apartment? What changed?

Good on ya, Violet. Way to get him to grovel But hey I gotta give it to him at least he made a small effort to run after her. Thanks for the update! Looking forward to the next one

This is so painful! Freaking Andrew. The horrible part is, that I kinda understand where he's coming from...though I totally empathize with Violet. :/
