This is nicely written and very descriptive. I can picture your characters and scenery very well in my head. The burning cat adds a nice sense of mystery to this chapter and I like Shane's character and Harley's character a lot. Everyone is eccentric and quirky. They are very interesting and really help bring the story to life.

I really liked the scene with X and the firey cat. Cherry Boy is a great name. I giggled at that actually. X is very mysterious, and I find myself intrigued by him. I wonder what role he'll play in future chapters.
