I don't usually write reviews but my god, love this story so much! I love love love Saul and Vaan and their relationship and I need more of this!

Oh god. Saul & Vaan make me cry. Honestly their relationship is so sweet & heartwarming and I just have no words. I really love how Vaan not only acknowledges his disability but tries to do things for him in a way that doesn't like undermine him. Ugh I just love them. Pretty Shade of Grey is one of the best stories I've ever read. I don't think I'll ever forget it.

Pleaaaase can you write a scene where Vaan tells his parents and where Saul visits Vaans family!

This got very soppy very fast, but the beginning was awesome and funny, and the gift at the end, though a bit too much (with the parents present and all) was surprisingly sweet. The fact that Saul is now accepting even the most intimate help from Vaan is such a beautiful thing. The conversation between Saul and his ma was very well-executed, really heart-warming.

I read 'Pretty Shade of Grey' and then 'Home Free' in the last two days and I just loved every minute of it. I don't know why I haven't read it before.
The way you build their friendship and relationshep piece by piece was amazing. 8 years are a long time and the characters seems to have progressed within this time, yet they stayed themselves. In general, I love stories that do not move too fast and Vaan and Saul are both unique.
Furthermore, your writing style made it easy and fun to read. And I think it was a good idea to not let Vaan meeting Saul's parents take place in 'Pretty Shade of Grey' and putting it into a sequel.

I was browsing thru favorited authors looking for new updates and i realized you had a vann amd saul story posted and I HADNT READ IT! Completely unacceptable absolutely had to sit down right there and read it which btw was totally worth it. A very nice fluf with a hint of angst just cause its those two. Now i feel like rereading pretty shade of grey again for like the tenth time _ on a side note i did notice a couple of typoes in ch 2 but still lovely dont forget to give all your readers more of these two personally i can nver get enough! (Pardon my own errors on this trying to type on my phone always is bad :P )

So freaking adorable. I love these guys.
Thanks so much for the sequel. I would love to read even more of their future, including the massive tension that is Vaan's household.

I was so ecstatic when I saw this. Just ... I am in school right now, reading this instead of studying for the test I have in a few hours and thinking I'm going to cry. Truly, Pretty Shade of Grey is one of my ultimate favourites ever and you giving us readers this oneshot makes me so happy.

I was really sad when PSoG was finished and this just ignited my feelings of "not enough!" all over again. I love how close Saul and Vaan are, how intimate their relationship is, how they can just cuddle in bed and be content and happy, and how cute they are together.

I am wondering, though, if "Ek is lief vir jou" means just as Vaan interpreted it, so "I love you" or is it something different though similar?

And, of course, my never-satieated appetite hungers for more of these two, but I'm guessing if (when, please make it a "when") that happens, the next step is meeting Vaan's family and I am fairly sure it won't be as rose-coloured as this (too short, not enough, want more, gimme!) one shot is.

Long review with less than substantial information, but I hope it convinces you that you (and us readers) really shouldn't give those two up. Thank you for making my day! :)
