![]() ![]() ![]() omg i luv'ed toby (in your previous story ) and i luv charlie ... both characters and their stories... i would have enjoyed more story but that was an ok stopping point . |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing as always. 3 It's been a while since this was updated so I hope you haven't given up on this story. It's honestly one of my favorites, even among published novels. |
![]() ![]() ![]() My heart is fluttering, holy crap. I don't think I can describe in words how much this story ended up affecting me. As a gay teenager with an autistic degree, I understood Charlie's struggles from the get-go. Heck, so many things me and him have in common... I absolutely adore how you portrayed his relationship with Travis - admittedly, kind of something I long for - and I hope you can, someday, continue writing this masterpiece. I've got genuine tears in my eyes right now... It's something I'd never really felt before. From the bottom of my heart, my sincere thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, please update? I love this so much, their relationship, the grandparents, living situations, their pasts. I love how I feel like I'm reading someone else's life, and if this is not going to continue my entertainment won't either I really love your writing, the characters and everything, the style especially, you're genuinely great at writing third person, so much so that I more than understand whats happening. So please do come back to this, it would make me undeniably happy :D |
![]() ![]() Autism was my first thought too! For this and Toby. I don't know much about disorders like this, and both stories I've read with someone who might be are from you. I'm thoroughly enjoying reading this and also learning new things! I wonder what made you think of writing a story about this! |
![]() ![]() ![]() My step brother is autistic, though I'm not sure if that's his exact diagnosis, so it's interesting to read a story with an autistic character. Also, at first I thought Charlie's grandparents were really mean but not it kinda just seems like they're extremely ignorant and maybe in denial. I love how understanding Travis is though. Their relationship is really cute. That psychiatrist was awful. He didn't even attempt to diagnose Charlie. Heck, he didn't even try to talk to him. Glad Travis took him to the school psychologist instead of giving up though. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is so sweet and adorable I may die. |
![]() ![]() ![]() See nothing wrong with you, just different Charlie. I am glad the school counselor could at least point them in the right direction. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Much adorbs. Second time's the charm? Nice to see that there is at least some idea, and not everything is because of childhood abuse, but also an actual medical problem. Wonder how the grandparents are gonna react to this...if last chapter was any indication, probably not good... Again, looking forward to next one! |
![]() ![]() That psychiatrist really was a dick. When Charlie said "look I'm rich" I thought of my little siblings because it was adorable. I can't wait for your next update |
![]() ![]() ![]() Definitely have to agree with Travis, that guy definitely came off as creepy, I just had bad vibes coming from him in all directions. Which was definitely a change of pace, and more realistic in my opinion. Usually, stories that include one, the first one was nice as can be and makes one feel very comfortable and stuff, nice to see a bad apple first time around. I do understand the grandparents' point, but they should acknowledge Travis's as well. At the same time, they should also explain to Charlie that sometimes, it takes several sessions for the problem to be found. Kind of mixed on this one, but a good stepping stone for later chapters. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh Charlie, you're lucky Travis understands you. It's too bad you can't make the rest of the world understand you. You'll find the right words to describe your condition soon and learn it's nothing wrong just different. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Looking forward to next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really enjoying this so far Charlie is so sweet and Travis is so nice, me likes it very much. I have to remember checking out those songs :p |
![]() ![]() ![]() Another excellent chapter. It's nice to see how willing to help Charlie Travis is. Hopefully therapy does help Charlie learn how to cope better and deal with things that upset him. I concur with others that you really flesh him out to be a realistic human rather than just a caricature, which can be difficult to achieve. Also I'm oddly taken with the grandparents, especially the grandfather. More of him please. |
