Reviews for Death March (Tante's Mythology) |

![]() ![]() ![]() An excellent piece. I love how you've made the gods and their struggles so believably real, while still keeping their godly essence intact. The "adorably little thunderstorm" was an excellent touch. I'm also very impressed with Hecate's very knowledgeable and meta take on the concepts of gods and their place amongst humanity. It's an incredible, frank and refreshing take on the idea. The only (very slight) criticism I can make is the "willing suspension of disbelief" line - whilst it is quite appropriate for the scene and Hecate's take on the god situation, funnily enough it actually broke my suspension of disbelief a bit. Maybe that has to do with only ever seeing that phrase used when talking about stories and never actually in a story, so maybe that's just me. :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved it. It really doesn't seem like you wrote this in less than half a day. It's marvelous and I truly enjoyed reading every word. I loved how you used the idea of the gods and how they will one day fall. Very wise words. Great use of the prompt as well. You really are a talented writer. Don't ever stop. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I knew I shouldn't have been eating when reading this. Four lines in, I'm already choking on milk and laughter. It's a great discussion presented in a format that's easy enough to read (and fun to read too!). It might be last minute, but it's one of my favourites. There's also an honest sense of mortality to it that's very befitting of the title - great play on immortals being mortal. :) As always with this series, the characters really leap off the page. Good work, my friend. Augie |
