What beautifully written scenes for each of the major characters! The theme of choices is strongly present here especially in Thanatos and the others resting vampires. I loved reading Jack's story about how he was the one who was pushed and through his own strength became stronger even though he lost his childhood. It was interesting to read the head priestess fall into darkness- I agree with Vi when she confronted her that the head priestess made her choice and shouldn't have try to bloody the world based on a few men who unfortunately debased her. Thanatos meeting Vi left me a bit conflicted. It was such a tender moment and emphasized her fighter spirit. It shows how much he loves her and wants to be truthful by telling her he doesn't want to lie and also that he will always be there to protect her. However even though he doesn't lie at her birth, he lies by omission the rest of her life when he does not tell her about his origins. She has to deal with her cat on her own and later with the help of Jack. I think it would have been nice to read a bit more or emphasize Leon's and VI's major moments in their life. I know it was mentioned previously that a turning point for Vi was almost being raped where she decided to takr control and learn from Jack. Also Leon's decision to fight when his brother was threatened. Again, your talent is amazing and I look forward to more stories from this amazing world you have created.
