How the fuck is Jade deceiving, Sedric?! You're the one who fucked up and she was warning you to put shit right before you cheated, you fool!

Good grief the whiplash that man produces. Really curious to know who & what they did to Sedric in retaliation for Jade.

I like the plot, the writing style if amazing, but the voices and actions of the main characters are childish. They speak like teenagers, they act like teenagers. And the "show, don't tell" isn't used here. Jade keeps telling us how bitter and bitchy and ruthless she is, but so far I've just seen a teenager ruled by hormones, too shy or dumb to speak up. And Sedric is acting the same way, being sulen and rude. What 30 yo lawyer (rich and succesfull one) brings an ex to his brother's wedding, expects to convince everyone they are in love but treats her like an abusive bully, gives her the cold shower, then jumps her in the middle of his family and pushes her rudly aside in the same place ... that reads like a 13 yo kid...

So good! Can't wait to read more about their past

Great beginning to you new story. Sounds like maybe either Mom or Alexis came to bat for her after their breakup and caused some serious shit to go down for Sedric.
