I'm giggling right now because I just read your author note for chapter 20. You said you wanted to update more often like maybe two a month or every week and a half but my dear, it's been 8 months since the last update. But of course, I understand you have a life and your life should not revolve around updating Rules to Kill By. I hope you are doing well and are healthy and just a little busy or feeling a little lazy.

I think the white clouds may be the bioweapon thing because when you spray it, I would think it's similar to how tear gas is sprayed, like the substance comes out white-ish. Maybe Adrian decides to give Elizabeth the antidote and he's the one that died instead? Who knows but I reiterate, I would be pleased to see Adrian alive and well when you write the epilogue. I am very excited for the reunion between the two and I am even more excited for the reunion between Elizabeth and the President. I hope she kills him in the end because it would be wrong if Patrick did it or someone else like Mora or something. Also, I am very disturbed to read that she is Ethan's ex. That makes me shudder because Mora is so vile.

I think the black rose pendant has something to do with Mikey and Elizabeth's gifts. It just makes a lot of sense because something shifted when Mikey returned it and Lord did I wish they would freaking talk about it or say something like "did you feel that?" These two siblings mean a lot to me. Please do not hurt them.

I think I enjoy your writing not only because you are able to create such a lovable character such as Elizabeth and even more lovable supporting characters but because you really have a way with words. I love that it's not all dialogue and we get such a clear understanding and view of what's going on in Elizabeth's head, and Adrian's for that matter. We get to see the villian's perspective for once and I love it. It really makes you more open minded and I applaud you for that. I also applaud you for your character development even though Elizabeth is in the middle of developing as we can see that she still cannot forget about killing Ethan's father. I'm glad she didn't just up and forgive and forget that incident just because Ethan says he loves her and how she still believes she deserves to die (even when I know she doesn't). These things take time with people and I'm very glad you are taking your time to write this. Please update soon because I am very intrigued by this situation right now.

I knew there was goodness in Adrian! I hope this makes Adrian revolt against the President and maybe he can join the Rebels. But that is wishful thinking and I'm just scared Adrian won't come out of this alive.

I think Patrick killed Lizzie's family but with orders from the President. You see, he has the gift of fire and her family died from a fire. And Lizzie saw guilt in his face and eyes when they were talking. Patrick is probably guilty for throwing her under the bus and escaping because he hated being a murder. But I hope I'm not right because that would break my heart and Lizzie's.

I think what I admire most in the relationship between Elizabeth and Adrian is that they both think so highly of each other. Even though Elizabeth thinks Adrian is annoying, she still thinks he is stronger than her which may or may not be true. I can't help but notice how everything Adrian says about Elizabeth is a compliment. And it's so crazy how Adrian thinks Elizabeth is stronger because she is quick with her kills but Elizabeth thinks Adrian is stronger because he is able to endure listening to his victim's screams and is fine talking to them. Even though I want Elizabeth to end up with Ethan (which they should reunite soon), I do wish that Elizabeth saves/helps Adrian with his darkness because I know there is something worth saving in him.

It's Tyler. 543 from Cellblock H is Tyler. LORD KNOWS SHIT IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN. I'm kind of surprised by this because I never thought Tyler would be strong enough to fight and make it through the rounds but then again, I could be completely wrong and it's not Tyler but someone else. I know Elizabeth is fighting against a Gifted and she hasn't trained like she did with her Master in a very long time but I'm somewhat disappointed that she lost control and ended up using her gift to kill that invisible guy. I didn't think she would give in like that but it is her decision. I'm also dying for Adrian and Elizabeth to reunite because reading about Adrian's feelings for her make me very mopey. He misses her so much and I'm very sad to hear that John doesn't think Adrian is capable of having a good life and there is no more hope for him. I think there definitely is because Adrian would do just about anything for Elizabeth and since she is on the verge of becoming better, he should be able to also. AND even though I am not there yet, I would love if you would continue to update because I know this story isn't complete.

Are you going to publish this story, like rules to die by? I really hope you do, I have been trying not to read this story so much because I want to buy it and then read it. Looking forward to it x)

When Jayden told Adrian that Elizabeth kissed 543 and he wasn't Ethan I was amused. Then Adrian's recitation of Rule One had me rolling! Not sure why, maybe sleep deprivation, but I thought this chapter was hilarious. Keep it up, and I'm really liking Adrian's POV!

Oh finally... Elizabeth deserve just a little bit of happiness before... well you know. Also, I really like the Elizabeth and Adrian. It's a very... unboxed sort of relationship that can't really be explained but it makes your heart feel for them all the same.

I wonder what'll happen, I hope Adrian will live and join who'z going to die

Omg she's not going to kill African! Surprising, yet not given how much of a capacity she has for empathy for people she is close to. But I have no idea how she might save him, never mind that he's a complete nut job in terms of what he's willing to do to find her. Also I wonder if the rose necklace has some magical properties. I see you were alluding to something like that when she put on the necklace again. Btw I saw a small typo, where you wrote "griped" instead of "gripped". I always look forward to reading your book.
