Wow! This was a nice chapter. I'm really glad you updated. Vicky was an unexpected character. I always thought Adrian was a virgin . You always write the best surprises!

I think Adrian is such a complex character. I feel bad for what he had to endure as a child, but I don't like him because as an adult he as the power to control his own life.

Alright, I have a bit of an odd request. Over the past few days I've been thinking, and sometimes I have a hard time visualizing some of the characters in this story (like the President/Mora Fari/John/etc). So I was wondering, are there any actors/actresses that you think resemble your characters? If so, I would love to look them up. Again, this is just a request, but I would have a lot of fun seeing what you had in mind.

I like how they have to drug Elizabeth, like, all the time. Maybe because her gift is strongly tied to her feelings, any strong emotional surge will get her gift 'flowing' again? I love the idea of Elizabeth fighting in this prison. Every time she flips/punches another prisoner, I can't help but imagine how proud President Kaiser would be. So Adrian is coming, huh? I love how everyone is so terrified and Elizabeth is just like, "Pfft we grew up together. I deal with that all the time...he'd torture me if I lost a game of checkers, so no biggie." But I can't wait to see him flip out when he sees Elizabeth.
Speaking of which, JOHN! :D I am so happy John is here! I have desperately wanted to see more of him! He compliments Elizabeth well. I think he is a better fit for her than Ethan was, because he isn't flooded with a darkness/need for revenge like Ethan was. He seems more stable. And I'm glad to know he can fight (and apparently, fight REALLY WELL...). John is really high on my list of favorite characters, so I was super happy when Elizabeth found him :)
Patrick is in a coma? Nooooo! My baby! I guess that's good because Elizabeth won't have to fight him in the Pit, but regardless...
Okay, time to address the elephant in the room. What's up with this Jayden Shaw guy? I feel like he's the physical incarnation of Elizabeth's darkness, the way he slinks around and glare/smiles at her. I can't wait to see more of him. I wonder how he got to this prison? Does he have a family? What's his past, and what are his plans for the future? So many questions. I love it. Also, he and Elizabeth seem to get each other, in a way. I want them to bond.
GEEZ THAT ENDING. WHEN DID JOHN GET SO FREAKIN INTENSE WHAT IS THIS. A FIGHT TO THE DEATH? HOW IS THAT GONNA WORK? WHY DOES JOHN LOOK SO SCARY? You jerks. Elizabeth was so excited to fight in the Pit, and you just HAD to put her up against her best friend. Jerks.
I love this story. I love it so bad. If you feel like you're lacking motivation, my advice is to go get inspired by something. Watch a really intense movie or go on a walk or something, just get inspired somehow. I know for a fact I'm not the only one who absolutely adores this story (and everything you write for that matter). I can't wait to hear what happens next
