I hope you're doing well. Just reread Hand of Grace and I'm sad to see Hand of Justice stuck unfinished. But, I know life has been difficult for everyone these past 2 years. I was once again completely mystified by this story. The detail and the characters interactions and growth are so well threaded throughout that I can never get over how nice it is to have found this. Such a lovely written story. You really only get to experience the first time reading it only once but only the good stories get to feel special when reread too. Take care & I hope at least you're still writing for yourself somewhere. It's good to keep doing what you love & you don't have to share that...although I know I would be thrilled if you did.

I finally realized on this read through that I call hair dryers 'blow dryers' which must be a midwestern thing!

And ugh, the beginning part of this is always really hard with Anne coming to grips with her dream inducement. I'm sure it helps knowing the perp is dead but I'm not sure by how much. Not gonna lie the second I learned of the different marks I probably would have demanded to see Zephyr's to confirm they were different. Hearing and seeing are two very different experiences.

I forgot how jarring Teles grabbing Anne is in this chapter! Even though she sorta snaps at him it's so controlled, I would have absolutely lost it.

I'm doing my re-read of this story and man does this all take a new light when you view Zephyr as a prisoner of war with PTSD, like I get why Teles is so mean to him but we literally have a 10-year survivor that you're complaining about here! And also seeing the barmaid's action as a trigger for anxiety and the Witch.

I always come back to this story. I think this is my third/fourth time reading, and every time is more fascinating than the last. The second half of this chapter is particularly capturing because it’s just so heart-warming and tender. The way that you’ve built the romance between Anne and Zephyr is really touching. :’) Thank you so much for brining these characters alive.

Just have to say...Amazing! I loved this story! Action packed, romance and incredible character development. I binged read this over a few days and just was addicted! I will have to reread it as you got me (not completely) by surprise with the whole Oakthorn/Zephyr being the same cubus. Let me tell you I screamed thinking back on Anne ravishing naked Oakthorn when you revealed him as Zephyr later on. I was suspecting Oakthorn to be Zeph instead of Azrael in the beginning when Teles was telling the story of Coutoure to Anne and then the whole Zeph surprised by Teles comment on Oakthorn’s beauty and then the whole mean grandpa/awesome Dad thing too but I was still not wholly convinced haha... and I’m glad you didn’t make the whole “feeding” scenes smutty (as nice as smut is). Your novel has such a great story line and development to not need it and what you wrote was fine to me to get the point across. Thanks for sharing!

I just finished your story after binge reading for a day...I just wanted to say what an amazing job you did with all aspects of the story. The characters are well made and as realistic as a fantasy story can get, the plot is well thought out and well executed and your writing is excellent. I think the only thing I was just a small bit disappointed with was the lack of more intimate details in Zeph's and Anne's life which I know some people aren't the most comfortable writing about, but rated as M and a story about incubi I thought there would be more. Anyway overall I loved your story and am excited to begin the sequel!

I also kinda saw "Oakthorn" and the Death Dealer represented when Zephyr was at the winter palace thinking about the life that he had now after being the witches slave(Death Dealer) and what his life would have been like if he had lived a normal life.(Blonde and friendly Oakthorn). I honeslty love all of the intricacies!

honestly when he transformed it reminded me of when Tiernan had asked for Teles' council and "Oakthorn" Was sitting to his side building up the shield on the medallion with such concentration. I admire that the amount of hidden detail and foreshadowing that has been put into this story!

Zephyr physical description remind me of Jason Mamoa when he had, and I like it;)

this was a good tie in to who the Death dealer was before, and I really enjoyed it!

I'm on my third re-read of this story, and I am CACKLING over the 'Do you think I'm pretty?' line. I can't believe how much foreshadowing you put into this series. Whenever I'm feeling reading fatigue, I love coming back to this story because it is such a joy to read.

For some reason I imagine Zephyr as a mix between Jason Momoa and Chris Hemsworth (as Thor), but more elegant.

This is the first time I realised that we already get a hint about Zephyr's true identity: "birth-marked to meet the lady Terra". Well done! It's even better written than I already believed!

Rereading - again - and I still think this is one of the best works on Fictionpress and any other similar website! I adore it! Great storyline, no plot holes, round and realistic characters, smooth writing style... I love you! I read this when I'm stressed out or sad and it always lifts my spririts.
