I feel like I know Mathew and Charlie. I like the character development in this story, but their relationship moves very quickly. I feel like your pacing is absolutely perfect in your more recent stories like Sigil but you also seem to focus less on the male's perspective in those. Here that is not an issue.

I love watching the change in demeanor between when Mathew thinks she's a man and when he thinks she's a woman. Also...the oh I better go check on her in case she hurts someone bit made me laugh.

Love your story. Please finish it!

Tis a fine movie script in the making about the dangerous era of 1920s Chicago gangland! Love it! Matthias Schoenaerts as Matthew Emerson, Tom Hanks as Beaumont Radcliffe and Catherine zeta jones as Martha... Yaaaasss! Not sure which present day blonde is strong AND sexy enough to play Charlie though... Not that hunger games girl for sure...

I absolutely love A Trick of the Light and how strong yet vulnerable Charlie is 3 However, I can't seem to find Chapter 6 of ATOTL (Chapter 7 was posted twice). It could be something wrong with FictionPress. I would really appreciate it greatly if you could share / fix it when you find the time .
