A very nice chapter, I love learning more and more about these characters - and finally Matthew and Charlotte kiss :3

I like Nathaniel and Charlies relationship, how he sees her as more than just a delicate woman but as a friend who he can joke with, which Matt seems to struggle with.

And I like how Eli thinks of Ruth - like how she'd look in the dress.

This is a really good story, just read all four chapters in one sitting. Just the right amount of drama and romantic storyline. I like that Charlie is trying to "learn" how to be a woman. Such a rough life and she just wanted some piece. I can imagine some drama is going to come their way. I think the chapters are good length and like how you gave their back stories early so we understand why they are the way that they are. Can't wait for the next chapter.
