theCoffeeEnzyme chapter 1 . 7/29/2014 Great story. Compelling, thoughtful, philosophical, everything a good sci-fi piece should have. And this is some intense sci-fi on a topic that is so fascinating, at least to me. I enjoyed the incorporation of huge numbers, the way you wrote them out completely and included the scientific notation. Your knowledge of physics and heat death are also impressive and add credibility to the story as a whole. The one issue I had was with the intro. It seemed a bit rushed. I understand the necessity: there was a huge amount of information, setting, technology, etc. that you had to introduce in the opening. It is a great deal for the reader to absorb so quickly, though, so I would suggest fleshing it out just a bit. Just my humble opinion. Great read overall. I truly enjoyed it. Good, solid, modern science fiction. Keep it up. |
WatUCWatIC chapter 1 . 7/29/2014 That was good. Incredibly so. I loved the way with words the timeline and how we followed one character seeminly normal (da) at first that turned out to be the last person in the universe. I loved the science you put into it and how unemotional yet still emotional it was... wow. I really want to see this play out as a movie animation cmic book or something, because i am definitely into this story (wierd considering im usually not so into sci fi). Great story. 10/10 for not boring me despite the length. Its hard to finda story like this where i dont want to skip a few paragraphs at a time. R.I.P Googol Man |
