I am just shell shocked by the sheer splendor of this chapter. Time & time again I am taken to new highs. I wonder how such a brilliant mind could ever be turned down by a publisher. Don't give up! You have pure unadulterated talent; & that can't be taught. You can change your hair(love the silver btw!) as many times as you like, but inside you'll always be that beautiful creative genius we all hold dear. Tell your lame reviewers they can go suck a lemon; & that you'll be accepting profound apologies, only when they're on their knees begging to be graced with another BTBB chapter. That's how this deity worship business works. ;)

This was an amazing plot twist. Poor Sigil :( I hope she can find he strength to defeat her abusive horrid "brothers" and get away from Iredesci Prime.

Obligatory praise of your flow and pacing. Beautifully written as always. Once again I feel like I want Sovereign to be the romantic hero but she and Carl just seem to have chemistry. I feel bad for Arden as well. I like sneaky characters so I had a soft spot for him.

The sex scenes are really well done...there's a balance between the clinical and the euphemistic that I don't think I've ever seen anyone else strike. I certainly don't think I could do it. And the plot has grown complex enough that I'll definitely have to reread from the beginning. I hope this will be a paperback one day so that i can own it...but honestly, jewels like this are what make fanfiction & fictionpress magical places to peruse.

I can only imagine the shit storm that will open the next chapter following the death of Jerla. Good god.

After your prologue I went back and read some of the reviews of BTBB. What a circus. Have you thought of deleting some of those reviews just for your own personal edification. I think I might if I were in your shoes. I would be infuriated if someone called me lazy for not spoon-feeding them free content on their personal schedule.

Okay I'll admit that I'm bad at reviewing every chapter. Sometimes I'm unable to hop on my laptop and leave a nice, thought out review. Other times I just suck haha. But after reading some of the reviews and your A/N for this chapter, I wanted to say a few things.

As a fellow writer, I completely understand that your life comes first. You are not paid to write, and us readers are lucky enough to enjoy the ride. A what a wonderful ride it's been so far - with all the intrigue, world building, character building, and major plot twists! It's been awesome. You write beautifully, in this story and in all your other ones. So it really irritates me when readers don't understand the time, energy, and effort put into beautiful works like yours. I truly hope you don't listen to the nasty reviews or even take the time to care about their words. You're not lazy. You don't beg for reviews. You have a life, and as a writer, you want feedback. Which is perfectly reasonable!

Now for the feedback: "Sigil" is a mind-blowing story (all of your works are!). It amazes me that you can balance your daily life as well as write several stories at once. Your main character is a fleshed out person with serious character flaws, but as a whole, she is a strong female lead. And that's probably what I love most about this story. Sigil's story is a tragedy but somehow, she still comes out kicking some major booty. I love how you make it all about her, and that we learn about her through her interactions with other characters. You don't just tell readers, you show them.

Other things I love: the sci-fi, the world building, and the descriptions. Science fiction has always been a weakness for me. I absolutely love sci-fi romances/good sci-fi ideas. This story is fantastic in its originality and sci-fi. Awesome technology combined with wicked world building and intriguing descriptions... just wow. You have a different way of describing things, which can sometimes be hard to understand, but I love that. It makes me think harder, and try and visualize what Sigil is seeing.

Honestly, I could go on and on about this story (and your others!) There is just so much to love. You're writing is different. It's spicy and intriguing. Plus, I just love the fact that you don't give a rat's ass about tamping down your sexual scenes. You're not afraid to dive right in and write the nasty. I mean...damn, girl! You just keep on doing you ;) Don't listen to the haters.

One final note before I finish off this review: if you ever need another quick beta because your main beta is busy with real life and is bogged down with work, I'm sure there are many people (myself included) who would love to beta for you. I promise I'm not hating on your current beta! He/she is awesome! But if you ever need extra help, don't be afraid to ask!

Anyway...I think this review got a little away from me. The point is.. THIS STORY IS AMAZING. I WILL WAIT AS LONG AS IT TAKES FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER. YOU ARE A WONDERFUL WRITER WITH EXCEPTIONAL IDEAS AND WRITING SKILLS. YOUR CHARACTERS ARE INCREDIBLE. AND YOU FUCKING KICK ASS.

Oh my goodness! Everyone Sigil loves gets killed. The scene with Karhl was so passionate and sweet though, he seems to really care for her.

OMG THAT ENDING ): ): oh no I can't imagine what Sigil will go through! somehow a sort of progress is achieved and now tragedy strikes once again. I can't imagine what will happen ): and if Sigil is indeed pregnant, will she lose the child? that's like a double tragedy and I really really can't see how Sigil will deal with this. Poor Sigil! This was really really unexpected. Your plot twists always make me end up with a heart attack /collapses

And I'm sorry to hear that you've got to deal with such things /: You're writing something for us for free, so how can readers demand anything from you for themselves? Ignore them and keep on doing whatever you want to. Of course us readers are definitely impatient, but we can't demand you to do anything. I'm happy as long as you update, no matter which story, so keep on writing! (:
