Oh my god this story is really coming together. I don't even know how to review this story because everything is just consistently good; characters, plot, romance, setting, writing, everything. I'm just going to say I can't wait for more :)

Also I'm really loving The Lotus and the Loon cover on FicFun! I love the colours!

Yes! I am so supportive of this decision! You go girl! Grab your dreams! I'll definitely be reading The Lotus and the Loon on FicFun and voting whenever I can. I love this story more than most published teen fiction. Your characters are always three-dimensional and have their own problems and ulterior motives. The setting just comes to life on the page, especially this story. I love the whole tropical island fantasy vibe going on here, its so original compared to the overused fantasymedieval Europe thing. Also that their god is a physical being, and its some kind of whale shark! Also loving the slow-burn- but-not-to-slow romance and I'm always down for the clueless-in-love trope (*cough* Eden *cough*). The plot is well paced and it's lovely and realistic and if you don't win the FicFun competition I will cry because this story deserves to be published! And famous! Sorry I rambled, but Good Luck sweetheart. You have my full support!

Well done, you :) I can completely understand it, really - I've always had the same kinds of doubts and they're really pretty hard to dispel :/ for me, going to uni and doing well there (with a lot of hard work) has made me finally really believe j myself, and I'm really glad you've found something similar!

Will you be uploading the rest of the chapters on FicFun? Right now it only has up to chapter 12. When will it be caught up to fictionpress? Will the new chapters actually be chapters that have previously been on fictionpress? I love this story and was very excited when I got the notification of a new chapter and I am now just wondering when the next chapter will be out!
