I really enjoyed the plot.

One moment can change your life forever! Excellent descriptions throughout. The end got a bit clunky and could use some cleaning up - transitions mostly. But otherwise, I like how your character came full circle. He started out condemning his friend for his lifestyle only to be sucked into it by trying to save him and ultimately paying for it with his future.
