I haven't been reading the past few updates because I was so nervous for Braxton- I'm so happy he's okay!

Seriously, have you considered expanding this story to novel-length, working with an editor and publishing? I think you'd have a wide audience. And imagine a film! Braxton's injury makes it such a unique story.

This story is phenomenal! Better than some published historical romance novels out there. Both Abigail and Braxton are extremely resilient people. Thank you for creating such nuanced, real characters! :)

Eek! A Woman's Weapon, yay! I'm also so happy with how this has progressed from it's infancy and I've followed its updates diligently so this is all very exciting.

This has been a beautiful story, full of detail and drama and all that good stuff. I especially love the focus on a personal drama in the midst of such major events. Well done.

I'm kind of glad that she decided to see Joseph. Even though, he did what he did, I think it is good for her own self that she went. I just hope she stays safe though. I'm sure Joseph won't be able to harm her, but Barrowman is still there...I don't know.

I'm kind of in love with Elijah;) his character is so great and I love their brotherly interactions in the last few chapters. Braxton showed so much courage and kindness when he proved he was the bigger man in helping Joseph. I think it showed how strong he really is. the end of this story will be bitter sweet because I cling to every word:)

Happy to see the update. I'm worried for Abigail and Elijah, though, as Barrowman is clearly capable of violence. I want her home with Braxton!

I love the brotherly interactions between Thomas and Elijah! It was very touching :)

This was most definitely worth the wait. I loved it. Every moment of it. Often chapters like these seem too long winded, stretching for too long and stuff, too much tension, too much waiting, but the tension and wait in this was just perfect. Perfect! The flow of his thoughts was really...interesting...I know there must be a much better word to describe it, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. I liked how he went from practically overstressed to calmer to taunting Joseph. I loved that Braxton realized his brother's reality too.
If I were in Barrowman's place the decision would be easy, but I don't know what kind of man he is. He seemed somewhat reasonable until now, so I'm hoping he'll lower his gun?
