So I've found myself hating coming to the end of a chapter with this story. It's extremely well written and original and I'm a fan of Duncan and his views on people. Really looking forward to seeing where this goes and the interactions between Duncan and Kailey, their verbal sparing is well written.

That was an awesome chapter. I feel so sad for the addition of a little girl that appears to be dead. The lightening incident was cool, especially when Duncan saved Kailey. Can't believe she got in the bath after that. She sure has been through a lot. I never expected that you'd have her recovered from such a ferocious attack. So glad we didn't have to read about it in present tense.

I saw a verb tense error early on, but I'm not feeling well enough to examine the entire document. When I get feeling better, I'll look at the chapters. Right now, I think I'm just going to go back and read them again and see if I can get a better visual of Duncan. :)

So Steve is still at large... And Bree was Kailey's daughter? I like the way you ended the chapter. It had been quite leisurely up until then - despite the runaway car and the lightning, it felt quite safe, maybe because we know Duncan's supernatural - but the dream has real impact and raises at least as many questions as it answers.

Wow. That was brutal, what she went through. I can't imagine having to see something like that. Did that happen or is it a dream? Looks like she is slowly gaining his attention.

Intriguing... What is Duncan, I wonder? And is the double booking an accident or has someone engineered it?

Kailey seems to be having one of those days where clearly nothing is going right. While Duncan has this calm, cool and collected air about him. Their going to mix right up.

LOL Oh no! Her poor car! I love your description of everything in this chapter, though the jumps between views is a little disorienting. This was a really great chapter. Loved Andrea and hope to see more of her. :) I suppose Kailey got that knife wound from her ex. What a bastard. Hope he's dead by the end of the story. *evil grin*

Duncan sounds hot in the physical department, but man, he's a snob. Make me like him, please!? :)
