Wow, this remind me so much of how my boyfriend and I were in high school! haha xD It was a dream that gave me the courage to talk to him too. He's also a cat person haha. His eyes were hazel though and not blue sadly :( and not Swedish haha. And the way they parted! That was how ours was! We didn't know if or when we would ever see each other again because he was graduating. Sorry, this just brought up so much nostalgia of our past in high school xD Anyways, I love it! Definitely a short, sweet, and very nostalgic read.

I love this one-shot sooooooooooooooooooooo much. It's so beautifully written. Seriously, dude, you should publish it in huffingtonpost or something. I mean, I just discovered that new York times had this "modern love" competition for college students going on during February and was reading about the winner and finalist pieces. This would have done soooooooo well. It's just one of those pieces about love that make you wonder about how it's so different in your case...how it's not like stories or fairy-tales but it's still good in its own way.

I love this. And I am probably going to be incoherent in this review because gosh it's been too long. I just love and admire your writing. It's so smooth and I just love how strong your protagonist's voice was. And eh 6000 words I couldn't believe it. The story was so engaging and beautiful. I loved the whoLe rationalisation you put at the end, for yourself and the readers. So remarkable. The whole story was so poignant and truthaul and given that I kinda gave up on fate, I feel this is exactly what I had been searching to read for a long while.

Sometimes i think time is probably what makes circumstances seem strange. but then time heals all wounds. But most importantly whatever happens no matter how much it hurts no matter how much it's unfair and stupid happens for the best and u do become stronger.

Ah your story is so bittersweet... I was so hoping that guy in the last little excerpt was the main guy... TT crush my heart, why don't you? I've always liked your stories and I can say that this one doesn't disappoint either! So keep writing and hoping that one day your 'iceboy' will come back ;)

I was so glad to see something new from you. This oneshot was amazing. I liked that it was based on a true story, because it made it feel very real, very relatable, and the emotions came through so naturally and believably. I've encountered the too-little-time, one-of-us-is-leaving situations myself (more than once, ugh) so I really loved this. It's hard to let go when you guys haven't explored the potential you might have had...and there's no real feeling of closure. Anyway, very very well written and engaging. Thank you so much for posting!
