Wow this is really interesting and enjoyable thus far. I like that it's modern in a made up world. I'm wondering if Padrick was just in the wrong place at the wrong time or if he's a traitor that set off the bomb at the petrol station? It's also very interesting to see the development of the relationships and the characters themselves. Really glad you're on the ball with updating because I seriously can't wait to read on! Missy is princess milquetoast? And Brennan knew all along?

I'm so completely in love with your writing that I read this chapter while I'm traveling through Europe, ha. All these small details as to what Lissy, Brennan, and Devin do are so telling of their character and backgrounds. I have thoughts on what's going to happen, Brennan's looming nuptials still have me anxious, but you like happy endings and I'm banking on that right now. Keep up the great work!

Okay, now I'm not so sure she's Princess Milquetoast. I wonder if Devin knows more than he's letting on. And great job on the pacing, I love what you do and do not include in the dialogue and scene descriptions.

I loved the opening of this chapter. The players have obviously grown and now have a rich history and the ending was great. Why do I have the feeling that Lissy is Princess Milquetoast?
