Ok that was a cute little story! They lost everything but most importantly, they lost each other. Not only to each other but to themselves. After what happened, they lost who they were, what they represented. Very deep of you to able to convey that in this story and actually make it sweet for them. Sure the path wasn't the easiest and they did lose everything from the material to the non material things but all that can be recovered. When reading this, didn't know if they would make it being that they seemed to be stuck in a routine (which is the worst thing ever) but then the prayers... I loved that she still held onto them and that the apprehension she had complained about in the beginning when she moved into the house turned into a sort of blessing and guidance for her. Good that they were able to turn this whole thing around and find themselves, find their way back to each other and find that inner peace that everyone (trust me, they are) looking for.

Heartwarming, poignant, tugging, and full of hope and promise. Makes you want to forgive and give chances to people who wronged you in the past and present. After all, it takes less energy to love than to hate. A change from the unbearable angst of not so happy ending stories. Thank you for this sun filling warmth story, and as usual, as I have read your other stories, beautifully written.

Touching, well-written story. Sweet ending.
It would be hard to forgive someone who you loved and trusted, only to have them betray you in so many ways, and to destroy your world.
Glad he had a friend to help him, and glad he didn't totally turn against her, divorce her, and not be there for her when she was ready to start her life again.
Sweet that they were slowng starting their life together over again, that the feelings were still there for both of them.
