Great chapter! Using the process of getting up and going to school as a way of telling about the different characters is rather brilliant. The pacing was good, the writing even better, and I find myself wanting to know more about the whole group; a rare thing, as I tend to have favorites.

It's always difficult to judge a story by a prologue like this, but you still managed to intrigue me; I'll be keeping an eye out for the first chapter.

I noticed a few typos and misplaced commas, and even a little hiccup with tense, but all in all, it wasn't bad. However, I would advice you to break it down in smaller paragraphs; they are quite large.
