This piece was not only above satisfactory and one of the best things I've read... It is also a piece that has found a place in my heart and I genuinely feel that this is something that everyone should get a chance to read.

Ooh, I like the poem-song mix of this one. I immediately picked up on the bitterness of being the "bad" parent, the "witch", and the power and strength in the song was fantastic. I can't wait for more from you, each poem is honestly such a delight to read.

I thought the poem really captures the essence of betrayal, from the perspective of an overworked, under-appreciated wife and mother. The line "and suddenly she's made the witch" felt really poignant to me. It takes steel for a parent to become the "bad guy" for their children's own good. And the idea of giving gifts versus giving time to the family. Time obviously takes more effort, but children don't comprehend that. Good poem/song!

This was interesting. Granted I read the beginning when someone was talking to me, so my mind got distracted. But otherwise,

when i got close to the end, I heard a melody playing along with it in my head, It was really cool. I could see this being a musical piece.
