Such a cute story! It always warms my heart to read these type of Christmas romance stories during this time of the year! I haven't been on FP in a while, but decided to give this one a try seeing as it was Christmas and it was a short story. You did a great job with Tommy and Mia! The transitions were good and it didn't seem out of the blue that they got together. Great job! :)

I am not sure what possessed me to come visit this site after like two years of never visiting it, but what a cute story to come back to! I love the subtlety and tenderness in it. A perfect holiday story! :-)

This is the first story I've read on fictionpress in a couple of months and wow it was amazing. I loved it all and the fact that it revolved around Christmas without being cheesy was just an added bonus. I loved the characters, the plot was humorous and interesting, and the dialogue was killer. I loved how you balanced out the description (which was really witty, by the way) with a good amount of dialogue. I also thought that your ideas for the scavenger were really original and interesting. You have a talent for capturing a lot of emotion in a simple, yet expressive way and I really enjoyed reading all of it. I think the only thing I kind of wished was different was Tommy's rambling speech at the end. I think it would have been interesting if it was actual dialogue instead of description but that's a very small thing so it doesn't really make too much of a difference. Anyway, great job completing this awesome story! Merry Christmas and good luck with your future writing projects!

Super fluffy and cute, and very enjoyable. I personally like the way you skipped past scenes and moved dialogue into narration (especially in the last chapter), gives it a feel of the protagonist telling the story to herself as it happens.

As I have said before, I really enjoy your writing. I especially like how you described how she intended to try and work out what he'd meant, but simply didn't get a chance to. I think often in stories like this everything gets thought about so laboriously, and that isn't always realistic. So it's great to have it addressed like that.

I am really enjoying this story, and am looking forward to where it's going. Because it's under romance, I can only assume that Mia and Tommy are going to get together in some way, but because your writing isn't predictable and cliche I don't necessarily know when it might happen or how it will, which is great!

I really liked the second paragraph in this chapter, the one that starts "And still I wasn't ready...". You put into words a familiar feeling that I hadn't thought to put into writing before.

I really enjoyed this chapter, and I'm rather disappointed that this is the last one for now. I'm incredibly glad that you aren't forcing the characters together, but rather are allowing for them to get together themselves.
