Oh my word! Really good short story!
The characters were original and compassionate, though you said they were based on real people so I'm sorry if this really happened to you.
The ending seemed quite abrupt but it fit with the way the plot flowed. Glad to have spent time reading it

I don't really know how I feel about this story tbh.
I liked its premise originally, and some of the characters felt really well fleshed out but.. idk.
It was really hard to keep track of the characters names, because I didn't know who they were they were just kinda pushed out there.
The plot felt kind hard to follow, and near the end where it picked up it felt a bit too dramatic for me.
The romance bit was alright tho.

Franklin died! I... I can't believe it at all.
Well you did a good job showing how his death affected Aurora, and how she pushed herself through the hospital and school.

I would have liked to see a bit more romance between Avery and Aurora, because apart from the kiss in the last chapter, it seems like they are still in the "Friends with benefits" type of relationship. Maybe a sequel... pretty please! :)

Still a perfect job for you, although I'm really bummed Franklin is dead. :(

Well another great chapter, and it was really emotional.
Sissy was adorable (although useless) and I really liked how Avery comforted Aurora and how she comforted Franklin. I love hurt/comfort in general so this was a great chapter.
Also I'm glad to get some backstory on how everything started.
Great job as usual and keep it up!

Well I didn't think the romance scene was cheesy or stupid. (Then again I've only written one, but still it was good)
The chapter was really good and I especially liked how Aurora looked to her left at the theater, expecting to see Franklin or Avery. It really shows how much she needs and values them in her life.
I also loved the mental image of seeing her curled up with her dog... so cute! :)

It's good that another person knows about them... although choosing to let out a secret of that magnitude at a school where anyone could hear it isn't the best plan.
I'm just shocked by how non-chalant Franklin was about the revaluation, as if "someone had told him they bought a new toaster over the weekend." Great line :)
