I really enjoyed having Miranda’s perspective on Anne’s and Zeph’s relationship. It was nice to have some gaps filled too on how her own relationship works. Of course I loved the last scene where Anne convinces Zeph to go to the Spa

I find it interesting that Anne was so surprised about Teles keeping up sexually with Miranda. It seems to be more common around me in real life for males to be the more sexual of the sexes, often complaining about how their wives don't want sex enough or outright ending a relationship because there isn't enough sex. Maybe Anne has seen a different side of Earth than me, or maybe she's a marathoner like me. But still.
Okay, if Miranda read about this two way contract thing in River City, why aren't ALL Asterian cubi making contracts like this? If not for personal safety as a cubus, then to reassure their leash holders that they would never harm them.

As much as I am enjoying Kristin and the beast, I dread when the super sad ending comes. I mean if zeph remebers his torturous grandfather and we have yet to see even a glimpse of that in the other story...I know it’s gonna be bad

I liked this chapter, though the cut to Zephyr writing an essay threw me off a bit. For a moment I forgot who Gesslyn was! As for Zephyr being hot tempered, I think he does show that through his treatment of those ‘under’ him. But in terms of glaring at people speaking ill of him? I dont think thats particularly hot tempered behaviour. If hes bad mouthed as commonly as we have known him to be, I suppose its a valid response to be annoyed to the point of getting angry. Also, while this behaviour comes up a lot, sometimes I wonder why he accepts the fear and commends them for having a healthy dose of it, when he senses fear. But in this instance when they insult him through whispers or thoughts he gets angry. Shouldnt he have already known that sometimes its empty bravado?

Enticing chapter, I love zephyrs character. It was well worth the wait.

I love how the story weaves in and out.
I know that somethings going to be thrown into the mix eventually.
But I can't wait for the series of one shots or something of their travels on earth, anne working in charity and those two flitting about and seeing all that they wish/ miss. Anne will be 130 by then. I can't imagine being that old!
