I really enjoy this, and the AABBAA pattern in terms of rhyming is a really nice touch! My only suggestion would be to alter the last A set to have two words that are different from the first A set, namely changing bold. (Maybe using foretold and behold? Just a passing idea.)

I like how it's simple and complex all at once, and I also love the 10-syllable continuation throughout (depending on how it's read).
