Sometimes, I thank God for sending my eyes to Power Trip and exposing me to your writing. I think I may be in love with this story. Everything I had dreamed of ever since you introduced Collin seem like a wish come true. It's dreamy. It's amazing. It's heartwarming. It's Collin.

Now, putting all obvious sentiments aside, I know this is your "soft open". I'm actually on alert on your Twitter so let's get on the technicalities as a reader.

Now, the short paragraphs is a bit irking on some moments but then again we're talking of Collin here. His line of thought is very manly, simple and straight-forward, so there's consistency. The paragraph thing is good. I'm having a little problem with his sexual identity since he's so confident of being bi, and last we saw him he was definitely in the closet. Well, to be fair, he's in college (congrats on his sports scholarship) and the thing with Gavin happened AGES ago. It's somewhat shocking for me, to see him so comfortable in this skin but it's nothing major. Maybe it's actually a good thing.

And what is it with you and biblical names lately? Hahaha! Levi is actually my uncle's name so it's an uncomfortable read but we say it as "Leh-vi" so I read it as "Lee-vie" so settle the difference. He's very adorable but doesn't seem very flamboyant gay though. Maybe it's your writing style, Calico, that all guys seem straight-acting. Hahaha! I'm actually surprised Collin doesn't find him annoying since the flamboyant gays get such a bad rap in the Community (at least here in my place).

I love the progression. The timeskips. How many times do you have to have sex with another person to develop feelings? I wouldn't know, really, since I'm a one-night-stand kind of guy but I felt Collin developed fast. Maybe the need for someone to love him ran deep within his personality. I like the consistency in this, and poor Collin.

I'm typing so fast that I can't recall if I said this but I'll say it all the same: I LOVE THIS STORY. You know that I love Collin so much and his scenes may be in competition with your other leads (Brecken/Gavin, Ashton/Hoadley, Calix/Wyatt). Too bad you somewhat pulled back on the worshipping though.

Very good pace. Consistent characterization. Good plot development. Very good climax. I rate this story a 9.8/10! Almost perfect! I'd rate it 10 but people might notice my bias. :)
