Mar Saumell chapter 16 . 12/4/2019
Hi there!
Nice job you’ve done here, with this story. :) It’s pretty much what I’d like to see published. It’s a lovely page-turner, a moving story with lots of BOTH talent and effort on your behalf. I’m not surprised to see you taking the leap into selling your stuff.
Honestly, I’ve come across many fiction writers lately (both professionals and amateurs, like myself) who write lame romance stories which include subdued/tame/crybaby female leading roles who rarely act according to what they believe in or to what they want to do with their lives (if they have got any ambitions or dreams whatsoever), and dark/abusive/mysterious/dominant male leading roles who never admit having feelings or even making a single joke. I’ve gotten so used to these cut-out, prefabricated gender roles that I even got shocked when Dylan made his first joke-like comment to Allie! It felt really good, don’t get me wrong. The shock was because I realized how much some popular characters from current pop culture actually suck. Dylan is WAAAYYYYY better than Mr. Grey or Jon Snow, for example. The world needs more positive examples of masculinity. Grey and Snow fall into two traditional categories of male roles which, in my humble opinion, a 21st century woman should NOT adore. She should slap their god-like faces instead, so that they would snap out of their stupid inferiority complex and do something with their lives. Honestly, I don’t get why women drool so much over those kind of guys! (sigh)
As far as your story is concerned, there are still some minor issues in terms of orthography, some wrong pronouns, and such. No big deal, though. But I get it: revising is tough, especially if you’re not a professional writer who works, studies or takes care of a family. Writing is a time-consuming activity, if you take it seriously. I’ve noticed that most of romance fiction professional writers DON’T ever review or even proofread what they write. They don’t even want to get the job done by a beta. They simply write rubbish, publish and make money. For example: I recently watched an interview to such a writer, who had managed to write 42 romance novels in the last 10 years – WTF! Well, it makes sense because: (1) she uses the same types of characters over and over again, (2) these characters are simple and prototypical, just what bored housewives what to read about, (3) she never makes use of complex plots nor devotes time or effort to embellish the text by the use of ‘difficult’ words or complex sentence structures. A real writer, in my opinion, IS NOTHING like that.
I’ve started to read your Dead End Diner, the first book, and it’s amazing. I love it. Just go on writing and trying your hardest. You’ve shown what your capable of, and it’s beautiful. We, the readers, are very lucky to have you.
I haven’t read Northcreek wolves #2 yet. I will soon. Definitely. :)
Aaand... who knows, maybe someday I'll dare to publish what I've been writing so far! Hahaha! Seriously, I don't know. My leading female characters are NOTHING like the standard ones you see in TV shows or movies. Anyway, enough chit-chat!
XOXO

Loved this story!

So glad to see you back! I can and have re-read this particular tale of the Northcreek pack repeatedly, but I think a story about Lukas and Bella sounds great :)
MiFaysand1 chapter 9 . 9/29/2019

I love this story. It was very creative, and I like the evolution of the Alpha’s character. I really enjoyed Dylan’s character and the relationship he accepted with Allie.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share

IsntItFunny chapter 15 . 1/21/2018
Oh hell yeah! Go Dylan! I am so happy that he was able to find around an arranged mating and get AJ before she was thrown to the wolves (George). He was such a twat and would have made a horrible life for AJ. So so so happy that Dylan and AJ got their happy ending!

Sorry for all the typos, my thumbs are too big for my phone. Either way

You have a gift, author. Thank you for sharing this story with us :)
IsntItFunny chapter 14 . 1/21/2018
George is such an asshole! You write the characters so well but damn!
IsntItFunny chapter 13 . 1/21/2018
This was a really cute chapter
IsntItFunny chapter 12 . 1/21/2018
Yessssss! FINALLY! That was a good first time scene. I am glad the way you wrote Dylan. Despite him having almost an air of an alpha, he is just a regular wolf and a pacifist. You write him in an excrellent believable way. I love it. I also love the way you write AJ
IsntItFunny chapter 11 . 1/21/2018
Again, George is such a creep! He's a great antagonist. Poor Dylan :(
IsntItFunny chapter 10 . 1/21/2018
Noo! Damn these backward-thinking werewolves.
IsntItFunny chapter 9 . 1/21/2018
The tension in this chapter was amazing.
