The first paragraph was the greatest hook I've ever read, you gave me hook line and sinker and I'm caught. So I'm a fishy! :D

Anyway, the abduction by aliens was a nice touch that threw me for a curve, and the fact that the alien is "drop-dead gorgeous" is another curveball you've thrown expertly.
