Its so hard to tell with Ezra but I hope we're getting to the heart of things now. He's incredibly complex and frustrating, and it's just as well he apologised to Milo at the end because I was pretty hacked off with him. He is very self centered. But he's so ultimately redeemable too, and seeing him through Milo's eyes makes him very charming indeed. Another excellent chapter! You never disappoint.

I really like this chapter, it gave a rare look into Ezra and why he is the way he is. I like that Milo is slowly getting closer to Ezra, taking their relationship slow makes it more real. Please update again soon, I'm completely addicted.

You have such a way with words that I had to pause and re-read whole paragraphs to appreciate their beauty. Perfect balance of sentence-lengths and just the right word in the right place. I think you're one of those people who can write an entire page about the most mundane thing and still make it interesting. Did you learn creative writing professionally (courses, university, etc) by any chance?

Back to the story itself. Milo is such a great character. I can see him being a total jerk, just like his friends are, if put in the wrong place at the wrong time. But he has a sound heart, and is a good person underneath it all. Seeing him become more.. introspective, let's say, and admitting his feelings is such a pleasure. I think Ezra would be missing out badly by letting him go.

Ezra is something else entirely. I can see myself falling for this kind of character very easily (miserable, charming, addictive, addicted) but I can also see how he can drag a lover down with him. He's poetically broken but broken all the same, I think.

I love the subtle way you wrote their relationship.
Also, I might be projecting here, but I felt like though the age difference between a 20 year old and a 27 year old is not much, and there isn't a big difference in their maturity levels, yet the power imbalance between them is so forceful. Not sure if you intentionally wrote them this way or not, but I couldn't help but think that perhaps why Milo was often unable to confront/control Ezra was as much due to the age difference as to Ezra being a jerk to him. Or maybe I'm overthinking it...
I see fics often using the age-gap trope to be more titalling , or to relate a younger audience to a more grown-up setting, but they often skip out on how imbalanced a relationship like that will be. But your story avoids that. It's a lot more realistic. Although we're only in Milo's head, his age and his relative innocence make him endearing and impossible not to root for.

Hope Ezra is as good for Milo as Milo is hoping him to be, all that dark foreshadowing is killing me. Even though Ezra is flawed and I love Milo too much but I still hope their relationship survives.

Vinny is such a creepy character! He was absolutely charming when he appeared, I couldn't help but be taken in by him. Then subtly and slowy his absolutely evil soul has started to show. Or am I just being paranoid because I'm fiercely protective of the Milo-Ezra ship?

I will end my rambling here. I'm sorry to anyone who tried to read it, I am sick, snot-nosed and feverish as I write this review, and terribly thankful to this story for making my sick days a bit more bearable. Flu sucks.

I'm happy to read this update! I see some foreshadowing going on with Vinny. At first, I thought he was developing a thing for Milo. Which was fine for me, just as long as he didn't try to take Ezra away. But now, I'm not so sure. Every chapter is a real treat. Ezra is kind of an asshole but he is growing on me. He's definitely emotional stunted. I love Milo, he is the unsung hero for me; I love how he toes the line between -I could be interested in guys - and - I'm totally not going to bang some dude! Keep it up, I love the sexual tension.

Poor Lynette, but I love how realistic her complicated relationship is. Milo is just perfect in every imperfect way, and I love the foreshadowing tht he is going to figure out a lot more about Ezra. Seeing the way Ra switches his fake emotions on and uses alcohol to dismiss emotions is both fascinating and disturbing!

Ooh, so are we going the route that I think were going? I'm not sure how I feel about that if I'm right. Even though I'm always saying "why can't they just be a threesome! so I don't have to choose?" I'm not sure Ezra would like that though, but I could be wrong. Anyway, this was a great chapter. look forward to seeing more!

Oh my gosh I love this story! I'll be honest when I picked this story to read I wasnt expecting to be as impressed as I was! I do mean that as a compliment. Im not judgemental I swear but this story really is amazing! Im so glad I read it. Though I'm sort of wondering how the characters are all standing with all the drinking they do. Lol. But again I love this! Please update soon!

I love Milo. I just love the flow of this story, its hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but I love it. Ryan was a massively entertaining read. The mystery but also closeness of Ezra is fascinating. I love the concept of Lynette and Milo hastily packing makeup on to their necks in the car. I just want to read more and more.

You have an exeptional writing style, you get the story across to the reader without being to hasty or sloppy. Keep writing, I'll stick around for more!
