Reviews for Just another (cliche) fairytale
jadesays chapter 4 . 4/20/2018
The goblins definitely way cuter! :D
I can't stop smiling and laughing while reading their antics, such as this part "remove the pretty weeds to make room for the ugly flowers". A simple thing that made the day brighter. Thanks for the fun story!
Sharon Valentine chapter 1 . 1/18/2018
What a lovely story. I enjoyed reading it. You are a very talent writer. Keep up the good work.
Zukafu Chiriamoto chapter 4 . 12/5/2017
Good goblins? Who da thunk it? Sara clearly is a princess of change! Watch out world.

And of course, the goblins would only offer the best names for the Labbydor. Their kindness knows no bounds. However, beware of an army of them, no matter how cute they are...

And there is never enough cuteness in the world so like Oliver Twist, I would like some more please sir. (But, you know, no pressure or anything!) In the meantime, off to investigate 'A Furry Thanksgiving' :D

Zukafu Chiriamoto chapter 3 . 12/5/2017
The Goblins’ curiosity over the new ‘thing’ brought home by Laurel is so child-like. It made me grin ear to ear when they vowed to protect the baby. Including a little bit of accidental kidnapping.

Also, Sara is just… ah. She sounds like a real cute “crazy baby”. The goblins have met their match!

Zukafu Chiriamoto chapter 2 . 12/3/2017
Dearie me, having just a single goblin around is a wild ride and a half - but one you wouldn't want to miss. They are wonderful to read about!
The proposal was truly something. Laurel has a good egg there that's for sure.

Zukafu Chiriamoto chapter 1 . 12/3/2017
Oh kids, they are such a funny bunch. And they never understand things like the secret relationship you can’t go public on. They are so non-judgemental.

But poor Laurel. Why do parents, nay everyone, think towers are ever a good idea – our ‘Prince Charming’ Isaac is completely right when he said that what evil stepmothers do. Because it is a poor idea. Almost as poor as going to a dodgy witch to propose a deal…

Or goblins actually. Goblins are often not much better in choice. But your goblins are just so… adorable really. The cheeky little things are so great to read. So eager to help even if they do have their pitfalls like poor concentration. But always trying. And that’s what counts!

Also Laurel. Hate to break it to you but I can think a number of exceptions to your words about princesses always marry non-royals. However, don’t let that stop you girl. In fact, show all THOSE princesses that you picked the better man – one who broke into a tower despite the odds just to hug her. That is proper suitor material. Also, he could be the Goblin King.

I vote for the goblins in the cuteness stakes! They're so so so so so so sososososososososo adorable! Oh I'm just smiling like my head is splitting open. The bit when they gave the pup their own names cause those were the best names was the absolute best moment for me! Oh this is so awesome! I love love love it to bits!
jadesays chapter 3 . 10/9/2017
I love the way you describe their marriage life from the Goblins' point of view. What a fun story! :D
jadesays chapter 2 . 10/9/2017
I couldn't stop smiling and laughing while reading it. The goblins were so funny!
jadesays chapter 1 . 10/9/2017
Lol. The easily distracted goblins cracked me up when they scouting the tower.
LorrahBear chapter 2 . 1/15/2017
I'm glad I got to read this chapter as well! This is so quirky and fun. :)

One small typo: "...and have a queen, and all he wanted to [do] was kiss her."
LorrahBear chapter 1 . 1/15/2017
How cute! :)

I did notice some lingering punctuation errors (mainly in the vein of missing periods), but outside of this, I thought it flowed really well. I love the addition of helpful goblins!
alltheeagles chapter 3 . 1/4/2017
You made me smile first thing in the morning, thank you! Sara sounds adorable! But you're right about them being crazy hard to take care of. I've encountered plenty of toddlers (luckily none of them on a permanent basis) and I'm ready to confirm that every single thing Sara did is indeed possible from a mini human.

The goblins are so helpful, oh the sweet little things... but don't they have baby goblins? How do they reproduce otherwise? Cause it seems a little strange that the concept of a baby is something unknown to them...
alltheeagles chapter 2 . 12/30/2016
Do you have a tape measure? Cause if you do then you can try to find out how wide the grin is across my face. Loved the feel-good factor. Loved loved loved the humour!

Ok, note to self: do not assign the following tasks to goblins. Not accompanying one on royal audiences, picking flowers, giving reminders... You ain't kidding when you say they're dimwitted, but oh, they're so unbearably sweet you just wanna cuddle them, muddiness and all.

The proposal was truly worthy of a Disney cartoon! So cute... I'd say I hope I can have a proposal like that only it couldn't possibly happen of course. Still, a girl can dream!
alltheeagles chapter 1 . 11/10/2016
Haha, the goblins are so cute! They remind me of Minions somehow... Well, they might not be very smart, but they sure got things done in the end. And whatever Isaac says, I think he can be the Goblin Prince!

Yay, they got to hug! And if I were Laurel's parents, I'd be sure to accept a proposal from such a determined and resourceful suitor for their daughter. Or I'd put a twist on the tale and have Laurel get tired of being locked up and break out to meet her friend instead.

It was, indeed, sweet as candy. Now if you can do this in the typical fairytale style of narration that'd be even sweeter and cuter! You know, like what I did in Sounds Fishy.
