I’m a follower of your Paladin series and have only come across this particular story of yours today. You really do have a gift for story telling and for writing...the way you weave words together gave me a clear picture of each scene in this story as it unfolded. Another gem of a read.

WOW! I found upon your story because I was looking for one with exactly the prompt your plot filled: a willing person is taken to a wizard’s tower and everyone else thinks they’ve been taken against their will, etc. etc. (mostly bc I had just recently read Naomi Novik’s Uprooted, which is wonderful and your story certainly holds a candle on its own) I feel like I hit the jackpot reading this, and was a little scared to finish it just bc it’s so good. Thank you for writing this, it was wonderful and completely underrated—the characters were vivacious and the lore was rich (if there were one thing I love, it’s non-northern European/traditional big fantasy setting worldbuilds); your sprinkling of little details like the idioms and phrases they used that indicated their culture gave this depth. I hope that one day, this story will become polished and you can get it published; I’d love to pay to read a fully fledged book on this plot. Thank you so much again!

Really liking this story so far. Chaz reminds me of the book from Ella Enchanted (book and movie combined) though way more snarky. It's niceto read some fantasy again. I'm afraid I haven't branched out in recent years. Glas I found this story.
