So basically Ana ruins her own life and chances of being with Zane. That is just so mean. She basically hates herself and it's a vicious circle because it's just going round and round as one soul becomes magic and lives with Zane and then makes them fight and it starts over again every 4000 years.

I can't work out if this is frustratingly amazing or just plain frustrating. I really want all the answers. Why does she keep going back to his past. Why doesn't he want kids. Why does he love her so damn much. Why hasn't he mentioned any of this before. It's all a cycle so if it's happening now even though it's 4000 years plus since it happened he should remember.
