Whoa, what a fantastic opening chapter. I was convinced that Mania was just that; manic representation in his mind, but nothing more. But the ending... hmm!

I noticed one spot where you had Eros and Mania speaking in the same paragraph, and even assuming Mania really is another part of himself, since they're being treated as separate characters, I think they should have separate paragraphs too.

I'm really not sure what to say about this story, but I have to agree with Eros. Love and Obsession are two sides of the same coin, and one can easily lead to the other if you let it get out of control. The story was amazing to read, and I loved the image of the purple and red heart, love and lust, endlessly dueling one another with a human as their battleground.

This was a great read, and once again you've got me thinking :)
