The Other world is clearly a very cruel place if you're not especially gifted, almost medieval in its dog-eat-dog style. I hope Jack or someone teaches that Iggy a lesson one day.
It's funny that it's the Lord of Winter, who's supposed to be the coldest of the lot, who actually marries a 'weak' human. And he's trying to help Bren - yay, Jack's back in my good books :-)

okay, so this was very mundane but wow, I love the torture. he got what he disserved I guess. stupid twat. I'm glad the jack knows that it was Tatty who did it all but now he has to work out that oberon is tatty. urg, this is just like a piece of chocolate that just doesn't want to end! its like a bottle of wine that wont end. its just pure good stuff.

I want to know one thing and one thing only at this point, do they get a happy ending, do they fall in love again? I know it is going to be worse before it gets better but tell me do they have a happy ending? I need to know so I can try and get through the pain and anguish that I know you have set for me.

on the other hand this was a good chapter. I liked it

Hahaha - I knew Nisha should have just run off with Slendie, she would have had it so much better ;-) He literally has the power to make women speechless and turn their legs to jelly!
Cormac's a right charmer with the ladies, I like him. Can't say I'm that impressed with Jack's matchmaking plans though - he never learns!

The nameless boy (was it D?) - it's really interesting, having a male character who is obviously going to be a 'goodie' (as opposed to a baddie - Tatty, you there!), but he's not the archetypical hero, or not yet by the sounds of it. He wallows in self-pity quite a lot (although I guess he's been through something pretty terrible) and he doesn't try to stand up to bullies. He's very interesting :-)
And I can't believe Jacob's dead - just like that! And Jack had him tortured - made me feel a bit goosepimply reading that bit. That part about doing the same sorts of things to Lily - that's so creepy. I wonder if she'll believe Jack if he tells her.

I love Jack's description of Nisha's dress. 'Almost as if champagne was green' - I wish I could have written that line! It all sounds so damned sexy!
It's so good the way you're describing how Nisha is 'human' to Jack, and therefore somewhat 'lesser' because of his distaste - that's just what I'm trying to portray, with Bretska and her magical abilities.
I wonder who the succubus was/is - something to do with Tatty, by any chance?

I'm so glad you're back! I love the new development with Bren. I can't wait to read more. I still hope to see some more bonding between Jack and sera. I'll just have to wait and see.

Poor Bren, I feel bad for him, but I'm glad he's met Sera again.

Poor Jack... he really has no idea of how to be a parent, but I feel so sorry for him when he says he f***s everything up :-( It's so tiring and gives you a sort-of sick feeling when you think you can't get anything right.
Can so understand Lily/Sera's confusion and anger too. She's trying to break Jack and Nisha up, and Aiden's trying to keep them together. I wonder which one will succeed...

Ooooooo interestingly so good this story does really make me feel things.
