If that was made into a story, I'm sure it would be a great success. Is it based on Rapunzel (I ask this because you mentioned that she was locked in a tower)?

A truly sorrowful tale worthy of Brothers Grimm, or that of the medieval bards of yore. I found your poem darkly, and emotional descriptive in its tone, and content. I instantly found myself invested in your protagonists lament, and the torment she expressed. While hoping even at the offerings conclusion that her cries might one day be heard...Anyway I believe every reader will surely hear, and be drawn toward the poetic, and sad song your little princess, perhaps as deeply as I was. Again kudos on some great writing!
