| LCZielinsky chapter 1 . 5/28/2018
I like this poem. There's so much rich imagery to cement the moments in time. The deft play of "left right behind" was brilliant! I also smiled at these lines: "everyone says they wanna be a 10/but I don't think they mean shoe size" and the kicker at the end "radioactive/a catalyst for change" really "spoke" to me.

I like this a lot. The “left right behind” is well done, and it’s intereesting to think of all the things we’re “supposed” to do that just don’t make sense for everyone. I don’t read a lot of poetry, but hope you write more.

I like how you developed your theme of unconventionality with normal examples, like being left-handed and having a big shoe size. My favourite line is “I left right behind many years ago” because I had to think twice what it meant and thought it was a clever usage. I’m not so fond of the word catalyst, however, because it’s slightly overused for me in the context of change to a point that it’s idiomatic.
