![]() ![]() ![]() Mockingbird, like I mentioned in Twitter, is literary art in motion. It was so well-constructed that it gave me uncomfortable man-feelings (it’s a compliment!). And once again, you continue to be one of the best queens of turning-straight-men-into-gay plots - possibly the best. It’s a return to form, very reminiscent of Power Trip, but has all the humor and chemistry of the summation of your years of writing. It’s fabulous! Wondrous to behold! I believe this could be one of your more engaging one-shot posts. I could rank this with among FBuddies and Gavin’s Story, when it comes to the best one-shot-supposedly! And as ever, you prove to be one of the most entertaining writer of internal conflict. Tristan was so entertaining, and very different! That’s probably what’s amazing about him, really. Because unlike your other leads with their strong personalities, Tristan is more like in between. Not too mouse-like like Benjamin, but not too obnoxious or strong like Brecken and Wyatt. He has this quiet demeanour about him that I absolutely appreciate. He’s unassuming, modest and simple, which makes him very relatable, likeable and adorable. He’s like a cute version of all of your seme, hot and packing but friendlier. Cole, as ever, remains to be very entertaining at the very least. I love the way that he’s not really in control, but going along some plans just diving into it. He doesn’t think of things much, does he? He’s very impulsive, persuasive and honest. He’s like the “good version” of Gavin, who remained conniving and scheming in this narrative (perhaps some leftover clues for Dark Gavin?). Cole seems not so fleshed out as much as Tristan, but then again we don’t see his thoughts and it’s not his POV. I also love how vocal he is at sex, while Tristan is so quiet! THEY’RE COMPLIMENTARY! And of course, I loved the shoutout to some familiar names from two, maybe three narratives so far! I think I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again - it’s like watching The Avengers, where familiar characters make appearances in different settings! It’s fabulous! Even Auden is somewhat referred, too! And if I’m right, this is the latest updated we have from PT, isn’t it? Brecken the baby whisperer! I needs it! And we even get an updated from the boys in Vegas! I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED THIS STORY SO MUCH. It’s packs so much information with such a small update. Big things come in small packages. Rather like Tristan. ;) |
