Well, there were certainly no stakes, Augs. But this does an excellent job of creating that fusion of Fantasy and Slice of Life that you were going for. There's something subtly magical about this world, with little hints of something more that make for tantalizing morsels to flesh out a story where, let's be fair, nothing really happens - but it's where and the how and the who around that nothing that really makes this compelling. Despite the fact that this tale seems like it might go somewhere dark or foreboding, it ends up being an effortlessly smooth sail, but just because a ride is smooth doesn't mean it can't still be enticing or beautiful.
