Awww bringing trees inside is a rather strange thing to do. Then to decorate it too. No wonder How doesn't quite understand it!
The tree decorating times though are wonderful - even if they go slightly pear shaped with a slight box mishap. Nonetheless, the girls have bounds of enthusiasm so something like that won't spoil things.

What a sweet way to end a perfectly sweet story.

Serena loved her gift and How did not uncover the identity of the magical man. He went right for the carrots. Why wait until morning?

I enjoyed this; it was an amusing and light read of pure enjoyment.

And the mistletoe is nullified! I just hope the cherries do not have kissing magic to! Still, it was hilarious watching the girls and How conspiring to get rid of the kissing plant! The innocence of the young mind.

Mice! A mouse for Paws! Hahaha. I love it! What a great idea!

How hard could it be? Cats are made for mouse hunting. How had a little more trouble.

Flowers. That is not a bad idea at all! I just hope How does not leave them out for too long or they will wilt.

Ah, all that trouble and Breven had to spoil it! I almost feel sorry for How! He went through a lot of trouble to get his pretty 'diamond'.

I see a little of the old jealousy returning but I am curious to see what How will come up with!

"So I don't listen to her when it comes to cooking!" Hahaha, I love that line!

And of course How had to fall into the bowl! I was afraid the girls would get overenthusiastic but. left alone for one minute, How turned into the cookie monster!

However, it seems he could still manage to take one or two cookies down. That shows how good they are.

Um, equal parts sugar and flour? I have made a lot of cookies and I have never come across one that has equal proportions of the those two ingredients.

Loved it.

How and Paws managed to wreak a little havoc while they tried to help. It was very sweet and funny when Paws shot up the tree in fright at the noise of the ornaments crashing across the floor. But I am glad the tree did not come down to!

This is a cute little story. :). With two pups and a cat, I also find it fun to imagine what they think about our holidays.

This is part of a series with other stories written about this family, I suspect, but I wish we got descriptions of what the critters (and humans I guess, hah) looked like. I want to be able to visualize How and Paws.

I thought the 'magical man' would be Brevan and there'd be some kind of showdown, but I much prefer that there wasn't! So happy that everything ended well and nobody got into trouble and everybody was so happy! Thank you for making me smile so much!

I happen to like cherries very much! So I'd hang cherries in my house instead of mistletoe, haha... Well, the girls are in this together with the furries, and boy have they set up a whole mess. If it were my parents I think I'd be in huge trouble but this is Brevan and Ina, so I'm not too worried for them. :))

Flowers are a good idea! Only I hope the flowers wouldn't go brown in the fort. Oh dear, I fear for you, How. You have such a big heart and yet there are so many things that you still need to learn. I hope it all works out for you!

Aww... I hope Ina knows how to behave when she receives the tail, cause if it were me, I wouldn't have the heart to tell the furballs their gift was gross... It's the thought that counts, right? *makes a Go Go HowPaws banner* I'm rooting for you! I'm sure you're gonna find the perfect gift!

So true to life, even if it was absolutely adorable. That is such a typical scene when a cat and a xmas tree combine! And the getting entranced by a bauble too! :) I hope Paws doesn't develop a taste for knocking down trees like SOME cats that I know...
