| Ckh chapter 1 . 7/21/2019
"...And trident lightning rips skies." - The third stanza was beautiful. I found the Posideon motif to be especially gripping. The wrath of a cruel god is an apt depiction of nature's unforgiving seas. Of course, your other stanzas are also descriptive, but the third one just stands out to me as the most distinct.
I like the levity the last line gives. After all that was experienced and done, one can only sigh and look back at the terrible experience with a touch of wryness eh?

Great verbiage! I could see and feel those tossing waves.

You’ve described the scene so well! And that too an experience :O
It’s, the dark side of nature indeed!
