| SaltwaterJanuary chapter 1 . 8/4/2019
I feel like this is about a cautious relationship- one trying hard to stay but not be hurt.
I loved it. Very well done.
| Ckh chapter 1 . 7/25/2019
"-these waterfalls on our burning fires, they rarely tried, I really tried." - Fan the flames of love however you hard you try. It only takes a few waterfalls to douse it. Sorry, that's just me being cynical. Real-life relationships might be tough enough to endure a few waterfalls, but what about those relationships who fail? Are they not 'real' relationships because they cannot endure? Its certainly something to ponder.
Excellent title and choice of summary by the way
| MagicInTheMundane chapter 1 . 7/20/2019
This poem is heartfelt, an excellent piece of work. I enjoyed all of it, but these lines really tugged on my emotions;
They tell the truth, their truth is lies
wrapped and disguised in pure satire.
Fly as they may, explore the skies
then get so numb and somewhat tired;
these waterfalls on our burning fires
They rarely tried, I really tried.
Brilliant and heart-wrenching. Definitely looking forward to reading more from you!
