Life has been kicking me in the teeth, so I haven't had a chance to leave reviews for Somewhere Else, but I figured I could start getting back into the habit of leaving reviews by writing one for this short story. I actually really really loved it; I think it's hilarious to think that if supernaturals were discovered, of course we'd be going on dates with them and *of course* some supernaturals would be more um, impressive than others (I think it was super smart of you to go with a ghoul!). I like how Ben also heard the conversation on the phone; it makes re-reading the one shot interesting knowing that he knows and suddenly his interactions with the MC make even more sense. I think my only nit-picky criticism would be that I would have liked to hear more of the conversations they had, just to get to know Ben better and see how he's compatible with the main character, but I still left the story thinking they were cute together, so it's not a huge deal. Thanks for sharing this Halloween treat! Reading your stories is always a pleasure :)

Oh my god i literally FLIPPED when I saw that you wrote a new story. I go back to your page every now and then (been doing that since what, 2015?) to check if you have new content. If not, I’d just reread some of my favorite works of yours. But ya whenever I need like a quick read before bed, I always go to your page, and I was so so so pleasantly surprised to see this.
