|Reviews for Strong Female Characters|
| Marina x Machina chapter 1 . 1/4
Cool examples! Definitely agree with the point that people focus too much on making female characters valuable from a masculine standpoint instead of embracing and recognizing the values of what else they have to offer. A personal fave of mine is Ella Enchanted. If you liked Penelope you might enjoy the Penelopeiad by Margaret Atwood, the author of The Handmaid's Tale (I was in a production of it and it apparently traumatized a lot of people who got to see it so that was fun).
| Sir Scott chapter 1 . 12/30/2019
I always liked the characters of Robert E. Howard such Red Sonja and the Sword-woman. Xena was a pretty tough character. I agree though characters should be allowed to develop on their own and not due to an agenda.
