|Reviews for Get a Life|
| LilyWoodlin chapter 1 . 7/31
This poem made me chuckle. I found the poem amusing, even if it's short. I wish it was a store brought thing. Maybe they would offer discounts on buying food or something.
| Woedin chapter 1 . 7/29
It is funny, and at the same time a good question. What is the meaning of that phrase today. Concepts do ever change, but when I was younger, that was something we'd say to a friend or acquaintance that might have crossed a line. Especially when asking about our personal love life, or were trying to get us to talk about something intimate, or potentially embarrassing. One might say "get a life", as in. If you had your own, then there would be no interest in what we are doing. Although in this age of social information, that phrased might be perceived as antisocial. The idea of privacy is unfortunately becoming, as old fashioned as a hand written letter, I'm sorry to say. ~I love to read any offering that can make me stop to think, Thanks for that.~
