|Reviews for What Goes On at the Burton Farm|
| Mislav chapter 1 . 7/28/2021
Very fun and exciting. I liked how you combined horror with humor. I especially liked Jake and Robbie fighting over the weapons. And LOL at: "he knew they were all about to die, but it seemed like neither Jake nor Eris cared." It reminds me of Stephen King's "Salem's Lot", where he notes that children have easier time accepting and tackling the existence of supernatural than adults. I definitely didn't expect the monster to be a scarecrow, or for the other scarecrow to appear. I liked the reveal about the other scarecrow being Franz in disguise. I also liked how he killed the scarecrow by literally ripping it in half. It was appropriate that it was named "Burton" farm. I read and reviewed "The Vampire's Sister" a while ago, and I enjoyed it as much as this story. Keep up the great work. I will definitely read your other stories.
