Giving blood is indeed a wonderful way of helping others. It doesn't take much, considering how much you end up helping somebody else. Wonderful poem.

Very good poem (actually, it's better than some of the ones I've had to peer edit for creative writing class). I gave blood this Tuesday, and you've captured the emotions it calls up perfectly. One thing-you might want to put some punctuation in.

Beautiful, once again! The ironic thing is, I volunteered at a blood drive today! Although, since I'm only 16, I was too young to donate. Oh, well. Once February comes along, I'm gonna kick my fear of needles in the butt and head on over to the Red Cross!
