Jacinda's silent responses to her father's words are just like what a normal teenager would think of, and I think that's very realistic. Update soon, it's been more than a year already, and you know all your readers are waiting in anticipation! :)

I like to think that most parents hit their kids for their own good. Like when they've done something really bad. But Cindy's dad seems to be hitting her because of his OWN emotions, and that makes it seem more like abuse than not.

The emotions radiating from this story, and this chapter especially, touched me. Very beautifully written. :)

Oh dear. Poor Jacinda. Her reaction to Tom's pleas was very realistic, and I liked it. :)

Oh dear, Cindy's getting quite a lot of negative feelings from the people around her. :( I'm glad JC chased after her though!

In the first few chapters, Cindy's character seemed a little vague and obscure, but I'm starting to get quite a good idea of what she's like already. :)

It's very good that Cindy isn't indestructible or nice to everyone like many other heroines are portrayed. Realistic. Very nice. :)
