Okay, WTF? go back and check the first four chapters. NOW. Then, either fix the problem or burn the whole thing. I don't care if it's discontinued or whatever, but peope still read this stuff. You're a great writer FROM WHAT I CAN ACTUALLY SEE, but the beginning of the book is sorta important to the readers. So please, when you have a little spare time to piss away, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just take a few seconds to upload these or delete the story. I can deal with 'unfinished', but 'unstarted' is seriously cruel, even accidentally. Sorry I'm being harsh, but after reading so many half-assed bullshit stories, finding a quality read with such a huge flaw is a tad soul-crushing.

Alright, I was mildly intested in the story so I clicked. Then I read your disclaimer and decided to sit back and enjoy a good story. After all, anyone using Kero and Paks as character models has to be doing something right. ;) If you like the merc company plot, you might want to check out a book called 'Lady Blade, Lord Fighter'. I can't think of the author though and it would be hard to find unless you go on-line.

Alright, now for the story. I love it! hee hee, okay, I feel like a dork. But seriously, you did a wonderful job making the characters, even the minor ones, come alive in your first chapter. I'm going to have to come back to read the rest but right now I'm running late. gr. And I blame the fact that I *had* to finish the chapter and then I *had* to review it.

I was a bit confused about who exactly K'Chaya was, but a second reading cleared that up. Nice story, but go for some more descriptions and *never* use parentheses for exposition. "Sat (the one in yellow clothes)" is evil. "Sat, the boy in yellow" is much better. If you were going to get this published, you wouldn't have those "PoV" markers. Just a little tweak and PoV is obvious just by reading the text. Nice job, keep up the good work.

Please don't have Seth end up like Paks friend Sef, who got killed when Sinthyas atacked the Halveric Fort! PLEEAAASSE!
